Play Therapy for Children & Adolescents
Expert care tailored to the unique needs of children and teens.
CHILD THERAPY
Individual therapy is a space for children to explore their emotions, behaviors, and relationships at their own pace. Through play and art, children can communicate what might be difficult to express in words, such as trauma, grief, and anxiety. This approach helps children build emotional regulation, self-esteem, and social skills—all crucial for long-term emotional growth.
For children ages 4-10
ADOLESCENT THERAPY
Adolescence is a critical time for emotional development, and counseling helps teens manage the pressures of school, relationships, and growing independence. Through a combination of activity therapy and talk therapy, I work with teens in San Francisco to address issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and stress management. Therapy helps teens develop healthy coping strategies and increase self- confidence.
For children ages 11-14
SIBLING/GROUP THERAPY
Group play helps children develop essential emotional, social, and behavioral skills in a supportive, peer-driven environment. Whether it’s improving sibling relationships or enhancing social skills, group therapy allows children to express themselves, build connections, and gain confidence.

Why play therapy?
Play therapy helps children express what they’re feeling inside—even when they don’t have the words. While adults talk through their problems, children work through emotions and experiences through play.
In play therapy, I create a warm, supportive space filled with carefully selected toys and materials. These aren’t just for fun—they’re tools that allow your child to explore emotions, solve problems, and feel heard and understood in a way that makes sense to them.
By following your child’s lead in play, I build a trusting relationship that supports emotional growth, confidence, and healthier behavior. Over time, children become better able to manage their feelings, navigate challenges, and feel more connected to the people around them.
Supporting the child behind the behavior.
Behavior is communication. When children act out or struggle emotionally, they're often expressing deeper feelings they can't yet articulate. I look beyond behaviors to help children and teens in the San Francisco Bay Area build emotional resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and thrive socially and behaviorally.
Whether you’re seeking child therapy, teen counseling, or parenting support, I'm here to help. Schedule a free, 45-minute consultation today to explore how therapy can support your child's growth and well-being.
